This side table is made of a steel tube frame and a birch plywood top. The frame, shaped like a crescent full moon, is compact and can be pulled close to an armchair, sofa, or bed. It is lightweight and versatile, and fits in any place or scene. The 606 Side Table was designed by Aino Aalto in 1932 for the Paimio Sanatorium project, in which he and Alvar Aalto worked together.
