The VL Ring Crown series originates from a lamp designed in 1940 by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen for the old Danish Broadcasting Corporation in Copenhagen. The wall lamp and pendant, with their distinctive organic shapes, were used in the interiors of the Danish Broadcasting Corporation. The metal part is made of unpainted brass with a glossy white triple-layered opal blown glass shade, and the three lamps are fitted with three shades. The light is mainly directed downwards, and the opalescent glass evenly illuminates the surroundings with a comfortable light.
