The VL Ring Crown series originates from a lamp designed in 1940 by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen for the old Danish Broadcasting Corporation in Copenhagen. The wall lamp and pendant, with their distinctive organic shapes, were used in the interiors of the Danish Broadcasting Corporation. The metal parts are made of unpainted brass with a glossy white triple-layered opal blown glass shade, and the five lamps have three-layered opalescent glass shades. The light is mainly directed downwards, and the opalescent glass evenly illuminates the surroundings with a comfortable light.
