A 100% glare-free bollard light that illuminates a large area with asymmetrical light distribution of 180 degrees on one side. The minimalist and beautiful form is ideal for building entrances, gardens, walkways, parks, harbor areas, etc., and is also highly durable. It creates an organic pattern of light on the ground. The development project for this bollard began in 2011 and was completed in several stages. First, an exhibition at the Brännerigarden Art Center in the Danish city of Viborg raised the idea of developing a garden light for the park on the premises. The project was carried out in collaboration with the city of Viborg, the power company, the museum, and the landscape architect, Louis Poulsen. In 2012, a prototype of the bollard was used at the exhibition and was so well received that Louis Poulsen decided to develop it as a ready-made product. The material, light distribution characteristics, and luminous efficiency were further improved, and it was unveiled as a new product at the lighting trade fair Light + Building in Frankfurt, Germany in 2014.
