This chair was designed while designing Blue Bottle Coffee's Shibuya Cafe. It was designed to be a casual dining chair that allows you to sit comfortably for a long time, with consideration given to its compatibility with modern interiors and its use as a chair in a cafe in a park. The wide backrest hugs the body and gently supports the back. The SHIBUYA CAFE Shibuya Cafe Collection was created with the intention of being installed in the "Blue Bottle Coffee Shibuya Cafe" in Shibuya, Tokyo. The Shibuya Cafe is the only tenant in the two-story building in Chatan Park, which has been opened to the surrounding area by this renovation and has become a bright park that is characteristic of an urban park. As with the Minato Mirai Cafe, the entire cafe was designed by Keiji Ashizawa Architects, who created tailor-made wooden interiors and furniture as elements that make up the cafe. Some of the furniture, such as tables and chairs, form additional elements of Karimoku Case's second collection. "We wanted to create a cafe that would take on the brand that Blue Bottle Coffee has built in Japan, as well as the history of Shibuya and Chatan Park, and that would embrace the local community within the park.
