This counter chair was made to match the chairs designed for Blue Bottle Coffee's Shibuya Cafe. It is designed to have a wide backrest and comfortable seating so that you can sit comfortably for long periods of time, even though it is a counter chair. The wide backrest hugs your body and gently supports your back. The Shibuya Cafe Shibuya Cafe Collection is a collection created with the intention of being installed at Blue Bottle Coffee Shibuya Cafe in Shibuya, Tokyo. Shibuya Cafe is the only tenant in a two-story building in Chatan Park, which has opened up to the surrounding area through this renovation and become a bright park that is characteristic of urban parks. As with the Minato Mirai Cafe, the entire cafe was designed by Keiji Ashizawa Architects, and tailor-made wooden interior and furniture were created as elements that make up the cafe. Some of the furniture, such as tables and chairs, form additional elements of Karimoku Case's second collection. "We wanted to create a cafe that would take on the brand that Blue Bottle Coffee has built in Japan, as well as the history of Shibuya and Chatan Park, and that would embrace the local community within the park.
