This unique pleated pendant light was designed by Takagi Homsvedt, who was fascinated by the pleats on the underside of a mushroom cap and became interested in their delicate beauty. The technique of folding countless pleats from a single resin sheet and curving them with heat without creating a peak is said to be extremely difficult to master. The flowing organic form without corners gives it a simple, beautiful, and light impression. The pendant is available in four different shapes, and you can enjoy hanging multiple lights with different designs. The smooth, rounded form, which is somewhat reminiscent of a Japanese lantern, fits in well with Japanese-style rooms. You can choose the color of the metal parts at the top and bottom. The warm light and gentle shadows unique to Le Klint. The secret lies in the beautiful form that can only be achieved by hand-weaving a single sheet. The shades have not changed since the company was founded, and are still carefully made one by one by skilled craftsmen in a workshop in Odense, Denmark's third largest city. It is said that it takes three years to master this basic technique, and more than 10 years to become a full-fledged craftsman. The pleated shade is made of flame-retardant PE resin, so it is resistant to UV rays and heat, and has high transparency. It is easy to clean because it is less likely to generate static electricity. For daily cleaning, simply brush off the dust to keep it looking beautiful. Le Klint products come with a Philips Hue bulb.
