This unique pleated pendant light was designed by designer Takagi Homsved, who was fascinated by the pleats on the underside of a mushroom cap and intrigued by their delicate beauty. The technique of folding countless pleats from a single resin sheet and curving them with heat without creating any sharp corners is considered extremely difficult to master. The flowing, organic form without any sharp corners creates a simple, beautiful, and airy impression. The pendant is available in four different shapes, allowing you to enjoy hanging multiple lights at the same time. The smooth, rounded form, reminiscent of Japanese lanterns, blends seamlessly with traditional Japanese rooms. Choose your color for the upper and lower metal sections. Le Klint's signature warm light and gentle shadows lie in the beautiful, handmade form, woven from a single sheet. Shades, unchanged since the company's founding, are still meticulously crafted by skilled artisans in a workshop in Odense, Denmark's third-largest city. It is said that it takes three years to master this basic technique, and more than ten years to master it. The pleated shade is made of flame-retardant PE resin, which is resistant to UV rays and heat and has high transparency. It's also static-resistant, making it easy to clean. Daily cleaning requires only a brush to maintain its beauty. Le Klint products come with Philips Hue bulbs.
