This unique pleated light was designed by Takagi & Homsbed, who were fascinated by the pleats on the underside of a mushroom cap and became interested in its delicate beauty. The technique of folding countless pleats from a single resin sheet and curving them with heat without creating a peak is said to be extremely difficult to master. The flowing organic form without corners gives it a simple, beautiful, and light impression. The metal parts on the top and bottom can be chosen from gold or silver. Le Klint's unique warm light and gentle shadow. The secret lies in the beautiful form that can only be achieved by hand-weaving a single sheet by hand. The shades have not changed since the company's founding, and are still carefully made one by one by skilled craftsmen in a workshop in Odense, Denmark's third largest city. It is said that it takes three years to master this basic technique and more than 10 years to become a full-fledged craftsman. The pleated shade is made of flame-retardant PE resin, which makes it resistant to UV rays, heat, and other stresses and highly transparent.
