Among the many lights by Le Klint, this is one of the most elaborately pleated lights. The light emitted by the light source is wrapped in a finely pleated sphere, creating a soft, warm light in the space and beautiful shadows. By combining a traditional fruit lantern (model 107) with an oak base, the sphere is made to float lightly, and you can enjoy the light of the fruit lantern as a table lamp anywhere you like. The warm light and gentle shadows unique to Le Klint. The secret lies in the beautiful form that can only be achieved by hand-weaving a single sheet by hand. The shades have not changed since the company was founded, and are still carefully made one by one by skilled craftsmen in a workshop in Odense, Denmark's third largest city. It is said that it takes three years to master this basic technique and more than 10 years to become a full-fledged craftsman. The pleated shade is made of flame-retardant PE resin, which makes it resistant to UV rays and heat, and highly transparent. It is easy to clean because it does not generate static electricity. Daily cleaning can be maintained by simply brushing off the dust with a brush. If dirt is a concern, the plastic shade can be removed and washed with water. Le Klint products come with a Philips Hue bulb. Philips Hue bulbs can be turned on and off, brightness can be adjusted, timers/schedules can be set, and more, all from a smartphone or tablet.
