Brand: LE KLINT
CLASSIC PENDANT MODEL 161
As its name suggests, this pendant lamp was designed in 1969 with a crystal motif. It was created by Bitt & Murgaud, pioneers of Danish furniture design in the 1950s, who also worked on architecture and interior design. It is a rare wide design among Le Klint's designs, and is recommended for use on dining tables. The warm light and gentle shadows unique to Le Klint. The secret lies in the beautiful form that can only be achieved by hand-weaving a single sheet. The shades have remained unchanged since the company's founding, and are still carefully made one by one by skilled craftsmen in a workshop in Odense, Denmark's third largest city. It is said that it takes three years to master this basic technique, and more than 10 years to become a full-fledged craftsman. The pleated shade is made of flame-retardant PE resin, which makes it resistant to UV rays and heat, and highly transparent. It is easy to clean because it does not easily generate static electricity. For daily cleaning, simply brush off the dust with a brush to maintain its beauty. If you are concerned about dirt, you can remove the resin shade and wash it with water. Le Klint products come with Philips Hue bulbs, which can be controlled by your smartphone or tablet, including turning the lights on and off, adjusting brightness, and setting timers/schedules.
