This ceramic plant pot with a smooth, organic form was designed by Aino Aalto for his own house on Riichtiegård in Helsinki. It is a product that embodies the beliefs of Alvar and Aino Aalto, who have an affinity for nature and natural materials, and who value every detail of their products. Although it was exhibited at the Paris World Exposition in 1937 and attracted attention, it was not put into production at the time, but was produced for indoor use in 2017.
