The ERIKO HORIKI Light Object Series is produced using a unique technique that creates a three-dimensional washi paper without using frameworks such as bamboo sticks or wire, or glue. Because no framework is used, there are no distorted protrusions, free curves can be expressed, and the glue does not deteriorate over time. Since 2018, the structure has been made more durable by incorporating resin, and the evolution of LED lighting has expanded the possibilities of design.
