Panthella 160 Portable (Opal Gray)
Created by Verner Panton in 1971, the Panthella is one of Panton's most iconic designs. The portable version is small, measuring 16cm in diameter, and can be used anywhere thanks to its USB rechargeable design. The acrylic hemispherical shade spreads a soft, glare-free light into the surrounding space, and both the shade and the base act as reflectors. It can be used to illuminate spaces and corners, as well as to create beautiful lighting in places with limited access to power outlets, such as patios and outdoor restaurants. It has three levels of dimming. The Opal Gray, which was reissued in 2022, features a white shade on the inside and a trumpet-shaped base with a glossy silver chrome finish. The hemispherical shade spreads a soft, glare-free diffused light into the surrounding space, and the downward light is reflected by the support and the trumpet-shaped base, creating a comfortable atmosphere.
