Australian-based designer Christian Lyon designed this cocktail cabinet inspired by a jacket his mother used to wear. Chrysanthemum is a flower that is sent on Mother's Day in Australia. The flower in the center of the cabinet represents the chrysanthemum on his jacket, and the knobs decorated with white mother-of-pearl represent the earrings his mother used to wear. The modern arrangement of the chrysanthemum is inlaid with smoked bird's eye maple, and the pale Japonica base enhances the chrysanthemum pattern even more. The inside of the cabinet is completely covered with mirror, the top of the inner drawer is made of marble, and the back of the door is covered with aluminum foil, making it a very luxurious design.
