The pendant light "101" has been synonymous with Le Klint since 1944. Also known as "Lantern", this series has been produced since the year after Le Klint was founded. It was designed by Kaare Klint, known as the father of Danish modernism. The intricate pleats made from a single plastic sheet are carefully calculated to be perfectly beautiful from any angle. This model has a steel ring attached to the top of the shade, which adds an elegant accent. The warm light and gentle shadows unique to Le Klint. The secret lies in the beautiful form that can only be achieved by hand-weaving a single sheet by hand. The shades have not changed since the company was founded, and are still carefully made one by one by skilled craftsmen in a workshop in Odense, Denmark's third largest city. It is said that it takes three years to master this basic technique and more than 10 years to become a full-fledged craftsman. The pleated shades are made of flame-retardant PE resin, which makes them resistant to UV rays and heat and highly transparent. It is easy to clean because it does not generate static electricity.
