PENDANT DONUT Pendant lamp
This pendant lamp "Donut" is attractive among Le Klint's pendant lamps for its finest and extremely complex pleats, giving it a cute shape yet an elegant finish. The top and bottom of the shade are closed with carefully polished steel plates, which also serve as an accent to the design. Product designer Lise Navne was inspired by the round shape of the donut and created an original version of this lamp, and in 2007, she made her debut as a designer with Le Klint. Le Klint's unique warm light and gentle shadows. The secret lies in the beautiful form that can only be achieved by hand-weaving a single sheet by hand. The shades have not changed since the company's founding, and are still carefully made one by one by skilled craftsmen in a workshop in Odense, Denmark's third largest city. It is said that it takes three years to master this basic technique and more than 10 years to become a full-fledged craftsman. The pleated shade is made of flame-retardant PE resin, which makes it resistant to UV rays and heat, and highly transparent. It is easy to clean because it does not generate static electricity. Daily cleaning can be maintained by simply brushing off the dust with a brush. If dirt is a concern, the plastic shade can be removed and washed with water. Le Klint products come with a Philips Hue bulb. Philips Hue bulbs can be turned on and off, brightness can be adjusted, timers/schedules can be set, and more, all from a smartphone or tablet.
