This stool has a seat made of Denim Stone, a new sustainable material that reduces environmental impact. The seat is slightly raised on the base, which is made of the finest wood, giving the impression that the strength and weakness of gravity coexist. Denim Stone is an upcycled material made by applying washi papermaking techniques to scraps from denim manufacturing. Dark Denim Stone retains the original color of dark denim, while its unique texture created by incorporating traditional Japanese techniques creates a deep atmosphere. The marble-like glossy surface changes its appearance depending on how the light hits it. The base is available in two types: chestnut with beautiful grain, and hard-to-find burnt Victorian rosewood.
