This dining chair with arms is based on the model "No. 811 / Prague Chair" from the late 1920s by Josef Hoffmann, a leading Austrian architect of the early 20th century. It was designed for Thonet, a furniture brand founded in Germany in 1819. It is made of precious domestic hardwood beech wood, carefully bent by skilled craftsmen using traditional handwork. Its form and modules are carefully calculated to provide a comfortable seating experience, and the construction method to create the three-dimensional back is achieved by twisting and bending a single piece of wood, a highly advanced technique.
