Salon Fauteuil
This lounge chair was designed in 1939 by Jean Prouvé, a French designer who had a major influence on 20th century architecture and industrial design. You can sense Prouvé's design philosophy of placing importance on structure in manufacturing. Prouvé, who was also an engineer, saw the true nature of chairs in his design, which is that the rear legs bear the greatest strain when sitting in them. Thin steel tubes are used for the front legs, which bear a relatively light weight, while thick hollow steel plates are used for the rear legs, which bear a heavier weight, allowing the weight of the chair to escape to the floor. The wide variety of upholstery options blends naturally into a variety of interiors, and the voluminous seat and warm wooden armrests allow you to relax in comfort. Source: https://flymee.jp/
