Tabouret No. 307
This stool was designed in 1951 by Jean Prouvé, a French designer who had a major influence on 20th century architecture and industrial design. In the early 1950s, Prouvé designed many stools, but they were referred to by their product numbers rather than specific names. The "Tablet N° 307" features a seat with a central depression resembling a tractor saddle. It is reminiscent of the seats in the university lecture halls he designed around the same time. The ergonomic seat was originally made of embossed aluminum, but Vitra has reissued it in solid oak. The combination of the solid, heavy wooden seat and the clean, elegant steel tube legs creates an attractive contrast. Source: https://flymee.jp/
