This stool was designed in 1941 by Jean Prouvé, a French designer who had a major influence on 20th century architecture and industrial design. Its refined beauty reflects Prouvé's unique philosophy of placing importance on structure. The main material used is solid wood with an oil finish that gives it a warm feel.
