NF-BS01
The NF Collection was designed by Norman Foster, a leading British architect. It was designed to be installed in the Foster Retreat, designed by the project team of the Norman Foster Foundation. It features a smooth, organic design, made with Karimoku's state-of-the-art woodworking machines and carefully finished by hand by artisans. The NF-BS01 is a counter stool with a simple structure and well-balanced proportions, giving it a timeless appeal. The soft transitions, which are a characteristic of the NF Collection, are evident in the integrated joints of the wood. Foster Retreat is Foster's private home on the prairie of Martha's Vineyard Island, south of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, USA. It was built to invite friends, writers, researchers, architects, engineers, and people interested in urban and environmental issues to enjoy their stay together. The furniture of Foster Retreat plays an important role in integrating and harmonizing the space, while also giving flexibility to the living space.
