Haco Sofa
This sofa was designed by Kenmochi Isamu, an interior designer who laid the foundations for the style known as Japanese modern. Its prototype was an easy chair designed as lobby furniture when he worked on the interior of the Kyoto International Conference Center. Its shape earned it the nickname "Hako (Box)." This sofa was born from the fusion of Kenmochi Isamu's modern design and Tendo Mokko's excellent molded plywood techniques. Its unique design encases the soft cushions that envelop the body in a beautiful, one-piece molded wood frame. The delicate and gentle texture of the wood, unique to oak, has a dense grain and creates a calming atmosphere. The cushions are removable, making it easy to maintain. Source: https://flymee.jp/
