This easy chair was designed by Kenzo Tange, one of the earliest architects to work outside of Japan, and known as "Tange of the World." The original chair was designed for a space designed by Tange in 1957, and its form remains the same as it was then. The three-dimensional, voluminous shape is made by bending a single piece of molded plywood. The slightly hard, thick cushion provides a stable and comfortable seating experience, allowing you to sit for long periods of time without getting tired. It is made of zelkova wood, a representative Japanese hardwood, and its elegant beauty is its charm.
