This stool was designed by Sugasawa Mitsumasa, an engineer and designer at Tendo Mokko. It is available in the same design as the high-back chair he designed. Sugasawa has been at the forefront of Tendo Mokko's development for many years, and his unique design, based on his thorough knowledge of molded plywood technology, gives the stool a sense of stability that is greater than it appears, and a surprising lightness. The legs are designed using a technique called "link-insertion molding," which combines solid wood pieces (links) with molded plywood, achieving high strength despite the slim shape.
