This coffee table was designed by Inui Saburo, an engineer and designer at Tendo Mokko who supported the early days of molded plywood. The prototype for this table was a low table designed in 1959. The legs, made with Tendo Mokko's specialty molded plywood technology, are directly connected to the tabletop, creating a logical and beautiful structure that is also sturdy. There are no sharp edges on the four corners of the tabletop, only beautiful curves that flow down to the ends of the legs. The joints are finished without any gaps thanks to the handiwork of outstanding craftsmen. It creates a good combination with the "Low Seat Chair" by Cho Daisaku and the "Spoke Chair" by Toyoguchi Katsuhei, and is designed to be the perfect height to use as a side table for a low chair with a low seat. It blends well with both Japanese spaces and Scandinavian-style interiors. Winner of the Good Design Award Source: https://flymee.jp/
