A circular dining table created for the Michelin-starred restaurant "ÄNG" in Sweden. It was designed in accordance with European hospitality culture. The tabletop without a skirting board, the shape of the legs and the angle of the installation are carefully considered, giving it a sense of stability and a light impression. It is a multi-purpose table that can be installed anywhere, not only in hospitality spaces such as restaurants and hotels, but also in home dining rooms and office community spaces. THE RESTAURANG ÄNG The restaurant ÄNG collection was created with the intention of being installed in the Michelin-starred restaurant "ÄNG", a modern glasshouse adjacent to the local Swedish vineyard "ÄSTAD". The bespoke interior focuses on Scandinavian design philosophy and the use of subdued materials, exploring the similarities between Japanese and Scandinavian expression. For this project, Norm Architects and Keiji Ashizawa Architects will both design new bespoke furniture and accessories, some of which will comprise Karimoku Cases' sixth collection.
