This lounge chair was designed while designing Blue Bottle Coffee in the Jing An Kerry Center in Shanghai, China. The design is layered with rich textures and details that allow you to feel the craftsmanship of Karimoku furniture. The relaxed seating creates a rich and gentle time. The back, carved from solid wood, gives a soft impression as if to echo the soft material of the seat. JING'AN KERRY CENTRE CAFE Blue Bottle Coffee Jing An Kerry Center Cafe Collection is a collection created with the intention of being installed in the "Blue Bottle Coffee Jing An Kerry Center" in Shanghai, China. The Shanghai Cafe is an interior project located in a building connected to the Kerry Center, located in a downtown area that has flourished around the 1,000-year-old "Jing An Temple". As with other CASE STUDY 02 series, the overall design of the cafe was handled by Keiji Ashizawa Architects, and tailor-made wooden interior and furniture were created as elements that make up the cafe. "While using materials and design details that are rooted in the community and region, we also tried to maintain a balance by retaining the same materials and details as in previous cafes we've worked on, in order to express our previous design language."
