This stool has a seat made of Denim Stone, a new sustainable material that reduces environmental impact. The seat is slightly raised on the base, which is made of the finest wood, giving the impression that the strength and weakness of gravity coexist. Denim Stone is an upcycled material made by applying washi papermaking techniques to the scraps from the denim manufacturing process. Light Denim Stone is a casual yet deep atmosphere created by incorporating traditional Japanese techniques, with the original color of light denim and the white cotton Hanten coat adding color. The surface has a glossy marble-like luster and changes its appearance depending on how the light hits it. The base is available in two types: chestnut with beautiful grain, and burnt Victorian rosewood, which is hard to find.
