This stool has a seat made of Suitstone, an upcycled material made from scraps from suit manufacturing. The top is placed slightly above the luxurious base made of the finest wood, giving the impression that the strength and weakness of gravity coexist. Suitstone is a new material created by reusing scraps of clothing that would otherwise be discarded during the manufacturing process and applying papermaking techniques to Japanese paper. It has the weight and glossy luster of Datekanseki, a material beloved by many sculptors, while its unique texture created by incorporating traditional Japanese techniques creates a modern atmosphere. The surface changes its appearance depending on how the light hits it. You can choose from two bases: chestnut with beautiful grain, or burnt Victorian rosewood, which is difficult to obtain.
