This chair has a seat made of Suitstone, an upcycled material made from scraps from the suit manufacturing process. The seat appears to float on the delicate and light steel frame. Suitstone is a new material created by reusing scraps from clothing that would otherwise be discarded during the manufacturing process and applying washi papermaking techniques. It has a heavy feel and glossy luster like the Datekan stone loved by many sculptors, but its unique texture created by incorporating traditional Japanese techniques creates a modern atmosphere. The surface changes its appearance depending on how the light hits it. You can choose from two types of backrest: chestnut with beautiful grain and burnt Victorian rosewood, which is hard to find.
