The KOTI series, created by KOKO3, a leading design team in the Finnish design world, is a storage furniture with a modern taste and size range that matches urban homes such as Helsinki and Tokyo. The design is not overly decorated and blends in with both modern and natural spaces. The surface material of the main body and doors is paper yarn fabric, and the handles are finished in a matte brass color. It is a modest yet beautiful finish like art, as is typical of Finnish design. It is carefully made by woodworking craftsmen in Asahikawa, Hokkaido. The double doors of the sideboard are push-latch type, which can be opened and closed with just a light push. There is a large storage space inside, and the shelf position can be adjusted according to the purpose. In order to achieve a simple and clean design, the shelves on the sideboard do not use screws or bolts to secure the shelves, but rather use the weight of the shelves themselves, resulting in a structure that is strong enough without extra reinforcement. The shelf position of each of the three levels can be adjusted. The surface of the main body and the door is covered with paper yarn fabric, which has a unique texture like twisted wood fibers. The virgin pulp and natural cotton used are from Nordic Paper, which is FSC-certified and actively committed to sustainability.
