"MOLEED" is a sustainable sofa series created to protect Japan's forest environment, using Mizunara, a precious wood that can withstand the harsh cold of the Daisetsuzan mountain range in Hokkaido and has a strong vitality. The parts are cut out with a calculated effort, and the deep wood grain that looks three-dimensional brings healing like wavelengths and moisturizes your life. Mizunara, which is 100 years old, gives a sense of noble beauty and dignity from its strong personality. In order to express the wood grain as it is, it is finished with 100% natural oil made in Japan, refined from plants and other natural sources. Over time, it gradually darkens in color and changes to a tasteful expression. The legs are thin and the elbows are shaped to spread out in front, giving a delicate and sharp impression. It is a structural beauty that makes use of the strength and beauty of the extremely hard precious wood. The elbows are easy to grip when you place your hands on them, and are just the right size to place a smartphone on. The front legs are 45mm square with rounded corners, and are designed to not hurt your feet too much even if you hit them. To make it easier to lean back, the wooden frame seat is inclined at 3 degrees and the backrest at 102 degrees, for a total of 105 degrees. The seat is made of a combination of high-density urethane and gemstone (cloth springs), which is firm and comfortable to sit on. The backrest is made of 100% domestic feathers. By placing thick urethane in the center, it is soft yet firm to sit on. It is designed to gently support your body while preventing the feel of the frame from being transmitted. The frame can be disassembled, allowing for efficient transportation when moving. This sofa is environmentally friendly, reducing waste by flexibly adapting to changes in lifestyle.
