The "PLYPLY" series was designed as a chair that symbolizes molded plywood. It was born from the "JAPANESE MODERN / 80 PROJECT" that started in 2020 as a commemorative project for the 80th anniversary of Tendo Mokko's founding. The charm of molded plywood is condensed into a design that has a basic silhouette but a fresh feel. The back and seat are three-dimensionally molded to provide a comfortable seating experience. At first glance, it looks simple, but the more you look at the details, such as the flowing lines from the backrest to the legs and the beautiful back view with upholstery on the back, the more you can feel the attention to detail. The material used is expressive oak. It is available in two colors: natural, which makes use of the natural color of oak, and ash black, a gentle black color that gives a sense of wood grain.
