This armchair was designed in 1960 by Saburo Inui, an engineer who built the foundations of Tendo Mokko's molded plywood. This chair, which fully incorporates the characteristics of molded plywood (plywood) made with advanced processing techniques, is named the "Ply Chair." Its simple structure, consisting of three components - a molded plywood back and seat, and steel legs - was designed at the time for export as a knockdown product (assembly).
