This dining table was designed by Saburo Inui, an engineer who built the foundations of Tendo Mokko's molded plywood. It was based on a low table designed in 1959. The legs are made of molded plywood and are directly connected to the tabletop, so there are no sharp edges on any of the four corners. The joints are handcrafted by outstanding craftsmen to ensure there are no gaps. The tabletop is made of melamine resin veneer, which is scratch-resistant, heat-resistant, water-resistant, and easy to clean.
