This armchair's voluminous, soft form and vibrant colors give it a familiar feel. As a homage to the ocean's coral reefs, it was designed using sustainable recycled materials, with research into environmental conservation and circulation. The upholstery is made from plastic waste, such as PET bottles, collected from the ocean and beaches. More than 100 PET bottles are recycled to complete one chair. The internal structure is made of FSC-certified wood. The filling is made of polyurethane recovered from discarded sofas and mattresses, and polyester fiber batting recycled from plastic containers.
