This pendant light mimics the triangular roof structure at the apex of the Archipelago House, which stands along the Swedish coastline. The base of the light is covered with washi paper and is attached with a magnet, so it can be easily removed if the bulb needs replacing. The base also acts as a screen, hiding the light source and creating a warm indirect light. The light spreads not only downwards, but also upwards and sideways. Small details such as the paper cord subtly incorporate the image of Karimoku Case furniture. It was also inspired by ropes and wires found in the fishing port near the Archipelago House, adding a sea atmosphere. THE ARCHIPELAGO HOUSE "Archipelago House Collection" is intended to be equipped with a summer house on the coastline located in western Sweden. This summer house is a modernized holiday home that encompasses all aspects of family life. Danish design studio Norm Architects designed the summer house with an emphasis on natural materials, calm colors and clean lines. The interior is carefully selected to be minimal yet cozy.
