This rug was designed by Danish textile designer Tanja Kirst. It is handwoven from Italian hemp yarn. The yarn is made from 50 fine threads spun together and dyed with bio-colours, giving it a natural colour and creating a colourful and unique pattern that changes colour depending on the light. Hemp requires less water and can be grown without harmful pesticides or fertilisers.
