Vitra and the Eames Office have teamed up to create the Eames Special Collection 2023 in special colors. The colors were inspired by the color palettes favored by Charles and Ray Eames, and dyed using the same techniques as in those days to create a fresh collection that will add color to your home. The textile, named "Dot Pattern," was designed for an exhibition held at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York in 1947. The bold graphic textile, consisting of crisscross patterns and dots, is based on abstract paintings by his wife Ray Eames in the 1930s. The Eames Wool Blanket, commercialized by Vitra, is made of high-quality Merino lambswool and woven in a jacquard weave, with the pattern colors reversed on the front and back.
