GRAND PRIX
The Grand Prix chair is a counter stool version of the chair, with an attractive, edgy, graphical design. The Grand Prix chair was first exhibited at the Spring Exhibition held at the Danish Museum of Art and Design in Copenhagen in 1957, and later won the highest award, the Grand Prix, at the Milan Triennale in the same year. The counter stool version of the Grand Prix chair has four long legs with a steel pipe footrest between them. The seat is made of molded plywood made from a combination of nine layers of veneer and Indian cotton. You can choose from three finishes: natural wood, lacquer, and colored ash. - The natural wood laminated plywood is finished with a natural wood veneer on the outside and clear lacquer. The clear wood grain enhances the organic form of the chair. The grain pattern varies from piece to piece. Recommended for those who prefer a natural look. - The lacquer finish hides the wood grain, giving the surface a uniform, silky soft impression and highlighting the beautiful color. - The wood grain can be clearly seen through the colored ash color paint.
