This is a reproduction of a low table designed by leading Japanese architect Murano Togo for the Miyako Hotel (now the Westin Miyako Kyoto) in 1960. Murano Togo's furniture is always designed for a specific space in accordance with an architectural plan, but mysteriously it has a universal appeal. The high level of skill and delicate balance that are incorporated into every detail, as well as the elegant appearance, are remarkable.
