The Swan Chair was designed by leading Japanese architect Murano Togo in 1978 for the lobby lounge of Hakone Prince Hotel (now The Prince Hakone) in accordance with the architectural design. Its low seating, which gives it a sense of calm that is neither like a sofa nor a chair, and its plump lines of wooden frame give it a unique charm. This chair, which has warmly welcomed and charmed many guests for over 30 years, has been reproduced for the first time by IDEE and made into an item.
