The Castor Low Chair, part of the Castor family, is based on the Castor Chair, which inherits the ergonomic features of traditional Swiss café chairs. Like other Castor items, it is a unique but not overly assertive design with an exquisite balance. Light, compact and comfortable to sit on, the low seat and wide back make this a unique lounge chair that brings relaxation in a variety of situations. The attractive armrest details, carved from solid oak, were created by inheriting the distinctive shape that resembles a beaver nibble, which is common to the Castor series. The paint finish, which allows the wood to show through, has been newly added to the Castor common colors of pure oak, grain gray and black, and moss green has been added to bring out the powerful expression of the domestic oak.
