This teacup expresses the clear "white" of the white sand laid out in a rock garden. The white porcelain is finished with a bisque (unglazed) finish, but a special process called a "diamond cut finish" is used, which gives it a smooth texture and unique feel that feels natural to your mouth and fingertips. This is the "En" type, which expresses the curved patterns of pebbles. The matte, colorless vessel creates soft shadows, creating a tranquil space and peaceful time at the dining table.
