This 22.5cm diameter plate can also be used to serve a la carte dishes, and incorporates the "fire color" that appears at the boundary between the glaze and the base into its design. Normally, the glaze is applied all over, so the fire color is hidden on the back, but by applying the glaze only halfway, the beautiful natural colors are expressed as a design on the surface. This is "Sora," which uses a blue glaze. It draws a horizon like the color of the sun spreading between the earth and the sky, and creates a rich time with its appearance that naturally blends in with both Japanese textures and Western spaces. To give a sense of Japanese style, hiiro uses richly textured clay and a matte glaze. It comes in three colors that evoke the scenery of the sky: "Cloud," "Sky," and "Moon."
