CARVED SWING
CARVED SWING is a new variation of the CARVED series, which was released in 2010 and won the Good Design Award. Taking advantage of the characteristics of this clock, which gives the impression that the letters have been carved out of the dial, the carved letters spill out and become a pendulum. The number 6 slowly swings to tell the time. This clock, which gives the impression that the letters have been carved out of the dial with a chisel, attempts to treat graphics as form. The shadows cast by the carved letters give the dial a three-dimensional feel, and the appearance changes depending on the surrounding light environment.
