"MOMIJI" is designed by the world-renowned industrial designer, Kiyoyuki Okuyama. The leaves are expressed using six colors of thread on a soft shell pink base, and are scattered in layers, creating a beautiful gradation. The 255 x 255cm type is about four and a half tatami mats in size, and is large enough for a large room. The overlapping patterns and traditional "Japanese" colors decorate the space with a rich color. [Designer's Line - Kiyoyuki Okuyama -] Kiyoyuki Okuyama, who is from Yamagata City, and Yamagata Dantsu began their collaboration in 2006, triggered by Okuyama's desire to promote manufacturing in Yamagata.
