The soft, bulging chair is reminiscent of ravioli, a type of pasta filled with fillings. Rotational molding, which uses the centrifugal force of rotation to mold resin, allows for dynamic shapes, but at the same time places limitations on the shapes that can be made due to issues with molding. After much trial and error, we arrived at this ribbon loop shape. While the shape is as impressive as an objet d'art, the backrest that holds the body is easy to sit on and practical.
