This high stool is made of walnut wood from Tohoku and carefully finished by artisans in Hida Takayama. While taking advantage of the natural beauty of the solid wood, such as the knots and color of the grain, it is painted with persimmon tannins extracted from Tenno persimmons grown in Kyoto and Nara Prefecture, giving it a nostalgic feel with a handmade feel. The charm of this product is the texture of the natural materials that changes over time. The legs are assembled using a technique called "split wedge tenon."
